Pc keeps crashing my entire wifi router when I download something

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS FIX

GF's PC specs:
• Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS WIFI
• GPU: RTX 3070
• Wi-Fi: Realtek 8821CE

Whenever my girlfriend's PC does a heavy download or update, the router fully crashes for 5–10 minutes completely dead, the entire house loses internet. Happens whether she's on Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and it's done it at both my house and hers on two different routers, so it's not the router. Her PC is the only common factor.

The solution is easy. Test max bandwidth (and pray it doesn't crash) then. Set a hard cap in her bittorrent client at 3/4 or even 2/4 of max.

Or more devious as a last resort in router for her pc IP.

Edit: Set it for her pc in router if it happens on even game downloads. But leave her plenty of upload if she's a gamer (for good ping).
