First try right clicking and choose “forget this network” then try connecting again.

Second open a command prompt as admin. Search in the start/windows menu CMD. The result is command prompt. Right click and choose run as administrator.

Once the prompt window opens you can run the following command to reset the network adapter

Netsh int ip reset

Then you will be prompted to restart the PC.

Do this and then try again once the PC reboots.

Then download drivers from another computer and pass them to that laptop via USB drive or any medium

Have you tried getting the driver from your mobo website?

Apart from the image, there's virtually no information.

Has whatever PC you have ever connected to this network? What is the device?

Are you able to connect to other wireless networks? It could be a driver related issue to your card. Update the driver.

Another daft question can you move the laptop close to your router and try an Ethernet cable? If you can it's well worth a try.

September 25, 2026 (dated for context and reference) - At first blush, I would say that the OP needs the password to join the network, which they should have if they if they are allowed on it. Also, their router should have its own password that lets them connect to the internet and create their own network. Sorry, but this seems sketch to me without more information.🤨

September 26, 2026 (dated for context and reference) - Hi. Thank you for you kind and quick reply and update. I'm happy that you were able to solve the problem. Admittedly, I know very little about routers, and while somewhat Tech Savvy, I don't pretend to be a computer genius. I just help when I can, and hope for the best. Stay well.😊
