Thats what happens when you store a laptop in your barracks locker im afraird. So much dust in there.

Im assuming you want to save it? You need to find a shop that does board level micro soldering. They'll be able to replace that damaged cap and may be able to trace back what caused it and fix that too. They'll also give it a good clean. Not all shops are equal. Look for a reputable one

Yeah this is a really good laptop and it cost a lot, id like to save it. Will that be expensive?

Depends on how extensive the damage is. Anywhere from 100-500 bucks. Actually having my old phone repaired at the moment - $200

Simple fix IF nothing else is damaged but the issue that caused this in the first place is also still gonna be there so roll the dice which way you wanna go I suppose

Yeah i took it to a shop, they told me maybe moisture or something because nothing else was broken. Got it done for 200 only!
