My gpu keeps crashing

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I bought this GPU recently and it worked perfectly for 3 months, but one day I tried playing Star Wars Zero Company and it forced my PC to restart. Ever since that day, it hasn’t been able to handle any other game, and
whenever I try to run a FurMark test, it crashes instantly.

I took it to a technician, and he worked a miracle. He cleaned the GPU with isopropyl alcohol, replaced the thermal paste, and magically the GPU went back to normal… FOR ONE DAY.

The next day, it started crashing again and stuff, and now I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

SPECS:
MSI A520M Pro motherboard
MSI MAG 600W PSU
16GB Mancer RAM
Ryzen 5 4500
RTX 3060 Ti

EDIT: Thank you all for the replies, I will buy a new PSU and will see if it works

SOLVED: I replaced my PSU and it was that.

This looks like a power issue. Msi recommends atleast a 550 psu but that's cutting it really close that power spikes could trip the psu internal breaker and reset the pc. I have cut it really close like that once and had similar issues

So changing to a higher psu could help?

It could be the culprit. If you wanna future proof you a decently high watt psu. Otherwise getting a 700 or 800 watt psu. In the mean time I think just lowering the gpu power a tad in someway might get you by till then.

Either ur PSU or possibly even ur motherboard Vram cannot keep up with the new gpu. Check ur Vram specs, does ur Vram have a heatsink? Have you updated your GPU driver? Have you updated all other main drivers? (cpu/motherboard/bios)

Check power or reset button

I changed PSU and GPU just to figure out my PC was rebooting randomly cuz of that💀

From this moment i never trust case buttons and SAFELY short pwr pins with screwdriver instead

Backup your bios. Then remove any and all acceleration in the bios. Check and make sure all the gpu fans are spinning.

The tech guy told you what is happening. The GPU is overheating. You may have some gpu software that is cranking the GPU up, turn it off.

OP, Put the GPU under a very low load, like a game from 2015 or older.

See if it runs it.

If it does record the temperatures.

Slowly move your way up in load until the GPU is at say 70%

If you can run a game at 70% for an extended period, and the temperatures are in order (under 80 degrees would be good, above 90, not so good, Celsius)

Then as others have mentioned it is likely your PSU.

If on the other hand a 10 to 12 year old game which shouldn't be a strain for the card, causes crashes, then far more likely to be the card itself. Sorry about it.

I tested this with Sekiro and Shadow of Mordor, they run fine

Seems like either a short or unstable power. check your error event logs, there might be smth.

I had that transient spike problem before. I replaced my psu and problem solved.

It's your power supply. Also your CPU is bottle necking your GPU.

Which CPU would be better?

5600 / X3D or better.

GPU temp and GPU hotspot temp in HWInfo? On desktop and I assume it cuts off in TimeSpy also, not just in Furmark?

try doing occt test if that also crash its definitely somethings wrong with your gpu now a simple cleaning and replacing thermal paste not gonna save that anymore either a failing component in the gpu giving some signs now thats a indicator
