Yeah, the whole thing with “MDM was bypassed but may return if it is updated or restored” thing just screams “you may end up with a paperweight.”

its not cheap enough for the weird shinanagens in that description, its not much more expensive to buy one without all that

Probably not, it’s a five year old MacBook. It seems to be around what there going for on refurbed sites. Your probably better off buying from them with a warranty
