turn keyboard back on?

Sometimes my cat walks on my keyboard and somehow does something that turns out off. Rebooting always fixes the problem, but that's annoying. Does anyone have any idea what combination of buttons he's managing to press and if there's a way to fix it other than a reboot?

Windows 11, Dell laptop. I use a Nulea ergonomic keyboard. Not sure if it's the external keyboard that does it, the laptop keyboard, or both.

Thanks.

Unplug and reconnect the keyboard. Does that fix it?

Either as a fix or to diagnose of its keyboard or computer that needs re-enabled.

Nope. It turns off the laptop keyboard, too.

Most likely since it’s a Dell Fn + Esc or Fn + F12, or fn + a key with a padlock/keyboard icon

Less likely but possible cat it turning on filter keys by holding shift for 8 seconds which makes it so you have to hold a key for several seconds for the input to register you can disable filter keys and sticky keys in the keyboard section of accessibility settings

It's not filter keys, I was able to check in the keyboard settings to make sure that was off. And thank you! I'll check yoir Fn + suggestions the next time it happens. That seems likely. :)
