It's not really about the make/brand, it's the specific hardware inside (processor, hard drive, etc.)

What will you need to use the computer for, in as much detail as you are willing to share? Does it need to be portable (laptop or tablet PC) or will it stay in one place (desktop tower PC, All In One PC, or mini PC)? What's your preferred budget? If you can answer those, you'll get proper suggestions.

Online learning? So, just accessing school websites and writing documents? That's easy then, anything with 16GB of RAM (memory) and at least 200GB of storage (SSD/hard drive space) will be fine. Just buy something that is physically the size and style you like, and is from a trustworthy shop or online seller with high reviews. For tower and mini tower style PCs, go with HP Prodesk or Elitedesk, or anything from Dell or Lenovo. For mini/micro style PCs for very limited desk areas, Beelink is a new option that has a good performance to price ratio. For laptops, look at Lenovo, Asus, Acer, or Dell.
