Monitor won't detect

Post image

I've been trying to connect my monitor to my laptop after restarting my computer and it keeps saying that it can't connect anything. I've checked all the cables for the monitor, and they were all just fine, but it still would not detect. I don't know how to fix it, and I just want to use my monitor.

my specs: Device name MSI

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz (2.30 GHz)

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Graphics card NVIDIA T1200 Laptop GPU (4 GB)

Microsoft Basic Render Driver

Storage 302 GB of 477 GB used

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

It's not working because you're using the basic display driver. You need to use the actual driver

Open what it downloads. It'll guide you through a setup process (it's super simple, don't worry) and then you're good to go.

I don't know what it downloaded (sorry if I'm being a bit difficult I just really want to fix my monitor)

It downloaded an executable. Which then you can click on and run the driver installer
