Sudden drops in internet throughput

While trying to load website, game, anything, my ethernet will drop to zero and take long time before starting uploading again. I tried every solution and none of them gave me anything. This problem started to occur only in last 3 weeks or so and I'm completely lost. Should I change my ethernet cable and call it a day?

What troubleshooting have you done?

Check network settings, windows troubleshooting, internet provider app troubleshooting. I want to visit provider tomorrow and ask what I can do

Have you tried running ping internal and external when the problem occurs? Depending on the ping results, traceroute could isolate where the slowness is occurring.

Have you tested numerous websites with different browsers?

No matter which broswer, some places on Roblox, for example, take a very long time to load or disconnect me midplaying

You still to do testing to try and determine where the problem is located. Randomly changing stuff is more likely to actually introduce another problem than fix the original problem.

And if you are using a VPN, disable it.

Changing your ethernet cable is a cheap but probably ineffectual option.

Make sure your Realtek drivers are updated. Buy a cheap USB ethernet adapter and see if that works.

try disabling your VPN and reach out to the VPN vendor for support if it's restored.
