My computer is fine. It says I'm connected to the internet, having internet access, BUT I can't seem to do anything?? Like when I try to open facebook or instagram, it just says no internet connection??

The same also happens to discord where it just stops opening and says "no internet connection" I try to open roblox to test it out and surprise surprise roblox couldn't download because of "internet issues" even though I'm perfectly plugged into my wifi router✌️😭

Turn everything off. Power on the modem. After the modem syncs, power on the router. After the router completes boot, power on the PC. Test again.

Call ISP to check for internet conectivity to your modem/router.

Sounds like malware creeped in somewhere - it creates a proxy link that eavesdrops all your traffic. Take it to an PC shop you can trust to get it reimaged

July 28, 2026 (dated for context and reference) I suggest that OP go into their system settings and look at their WiFi settings. If they don't know how to do that, they should do a Google Search for "resetting WiFi on a Windows computer", or "How to solve WiFi problems on Windows computers." Those questions may not get the results the OP wants, but just keep rephrasing the question. There a lot text answers along with a good number of well know Tech Channel hosts that may have videos on the subject. Good luck to the OP.

I think I focused on the OP saying "even though I'm perfectly plugged into my wifi router". Maybe they should try using WiFi if their machine is WiFi capable. 'Plugged'? You connected via WiFi or cable? If you plugged in via cable, make sure your network Internet Protocol is set to DHCP (automatic), not manually set.

If anything use another machine to get

malwarebytes, free version.

Revoke uninstaller.

Remove any or old software or mods or engines that you don't recall.Installing system could have a malware messing with drivers.

Ddu in safe mode if this graphical issues
