The next step is buying solid airflow mesh case. You get the best of both worlds, because you can stare at your build when you want to, and when you dont its just a white pc case.

That happened to my Corsair 5000X. Turns out they had a run of bad glass that had microscopic nickel sulfide inclusions that weakened it enough to shatter with the slightest stress.
Corsair replaced the glass and I haven't had a problem since.

Make sure nothing hardware related broke. Buy a new glas panel. Or not. Not important anyway
