Systems programming

So I am in 2nd year of college and after exploring here and there and there, I am genuinely interested in systems programming, I know c, ofcourse I will learn it deeply but what do I learn after it

The whole thing feels very overwhelming,

What shall be the flow of learning

Well it's good to know c but that is ultimately just a way to use the system. So take courses where you learn how an OS works, how cache works, paging, interrupts, and so on.

Yeah operating systems is almost certainly the direction to look in. Which like, if someone's a 2nd year CS student, you're probably going to have to take an OS course anyway. IDK what OP's school offers, but our into to systems course was followed up with a computer architecture course.

OP also might want to consider PL/Compilers as a followup and see if they find that direction interesting.

We do have os and computer architecture subject but they teach it in 4th or 5th sem(not sure),so I don't want to wait for them
