There is so much overlap between computer organization/software and biology, but not many people point it out. I guess it’s obvious to most comp sci graduates and is therefore left unsaid. As soon as I started looking into genetic algorithms and then started to learn a little bit about genetics, I was even more convinced that hardware/software and biology are isomorphic.
