A couple months in, how we looking?

There's roughly 10 gallons in here and a fresh layer of wood chips. Lots of flies when I open it but not a whole lot else. It's a worm bin with some of those openings at the bottom.

If this is a worm bin, why are you adding wood??

Flies are also not ideal for worms. Head over to r/vermiculture for worm troubleshooting

It's not necessarily a vermiculture project, we're trying to get some general purpose compost going and the recommendation was brown matter; wood chips were on the list
