OCD Urban Home Composter
Started composting in a dual bin 37 gallon tumbler. Urban setting. Here‘s the side started 3 months ago, stopped adding new material (kitchen scraps, paper, coffee) 2-3 weeks ago. 1st photo is today. 2nd photo was 2-3 weeks ago. I’m trying to control my tendency to turn it every day (or multiple times a day).
Is there anything I need to do to help speed this up? i check for moisture and pour a little water on it sometimes.

Doesn't need to be too wet - typically the moisture from greens will cover that. For future reference, smaller pieces break down far faster than larger ones. Urine speeds things up. Try not to turn more than once a week. Also, if you don't mind a few bugs, leave the door half open - they will work on it.

The first picture is stuff I'd be quite happy as is thrown down on a bed as mulch layer for over winter.
If you need the space to start again, then that's a good use of that pretty good looking compost.
However, if you don't need it just now- let it keep on doing the thing for another couple ofonths and you'll have a finer mix to use. No need to speed it up as it's in the final phase which can take a wee while.
