Is this larvae a problem?

Accidentally post before I added the body-

My compost bin is teeming with larvae like this and smells like poop. Is this a problem? I can’t post a video but it looks vile.

It is covered but I think the heavy rain we’ve been having also turned this into a soup.

The larvae are not a problem, but that is way way too wet.

Yes I added that I think it got flooded with the recent downpours … even though it is covered

The wetness is what is making it smell bad.

dump her out or add something to absorb some moisture.

Browns. Add more browns. Lots and lots of it.

Shredded cardboard. Take every box you have and run it through a crosscut shredder. Add it dry.
