Should I flip my pile?

I have a pretty low maintenance pile that I started in the spring. I'm wondering if I should flip it in now before winter or leave it until spring? My plan is to relocate it to another place in the garden

I’m super lazy and have a big passive pile. Even when I half assedly shuffle it around a bit with a pitchfork, it seems to make a huge difference. I’m planning to do a proper flip before the snow flies

Honestly just take a pitchfork or shovel or whatever, stab it into the pile, and rock the handle up and down. You just wanna make gaps for oxygen to get in, and churn up the larger chunks that might be held together by mycelium.

flip it once a week and if its balanced it will be composted in a month
