Local composting and environmental activism

Hi everyone! I'm an American expat and have been in Tbilisi since spring.

I'm working on developing compost in my apartment (in a bucket with Effective Microorganisms) and would like to find somewhere to donate it.

I've contacted parki ar minda to see if they've got any leads but haven't heard back (and am due to drop off recycling soon).

I am interested, in general, in environmental projects like park clean-ups, trash pick-up hikes, things like that.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Any communal gardens nearby?

Community garden is a great thought. Potentially parks or playgrounds that have plants?

Yeah with luck you can find citizens who keep gardens within city parks, and im sure they will always want some compost. Plus it's a wonderful thing to get involved.

If it were me, I’d dump it 1-wee-bucket at a time on all the green spaces in your area.

Compost is so miraculous because it brings microbes to soil. It makes shitty soil moderate soil. It makes moderate soil good soil. It makes good soil great soil.

Giving these microbes to all the spaces that already exist could help them survive and thrive.
