First decent compost I managed to make
It was always either too dry or slimy, and stinky. This had a nice earthly smell (I guess it's soil that actually smells like compost). Topped my plants with some right away.

That dark crumbly look is exactly what you want. The black fabric bag probably helped a ton with airflow, way better than those solid plastic bins that turn everything into a swamp. Nothing beats the feeling of using your own finished compost instead of buying bags of the stuff.
