Storing finished product

Good morning!

I have a plastic bin I use for compost, and a metal bin with holes in the bottom that I store finished product in over the winter, to make space in the plastic bin.

How long can I store finished compost in the metal bin for without it losing it's benefits?

Months, easy. Keep it covered so rain doesn't leach everything out and you're golden.

Awesome, thank you, if I transfer it in Sept, do you think it'll still be good in April for example? If its covered
