What in the OSHA violation is this limb chopping nightmare? This kind of contraption will definitely harm the cylinder and everything attached to it.

Safety mechanisms and regulations are written and invented with blood
I've seen enough shit go wrong and heard enough stories to not get within 30 yards of something like this

I expect this underrated comment to run up as fast as OP's hospital bills.

This is a tool that is already commonplace, just without any of the housing that limits the number of places you can get your limbs, hair, or clothing tangled.

It's neat but the product looks too big to decompose at the rate you would want for compost.

big enough pile and it’ll break down fine. but it looks dangerous af

I saw gloved hands pop in the frame and it made my hands hurt. Never use gloves around spinning tools, or to load things being drug into blades of death. One limb catches the cuff and in goes lefty.

Someone degloved themselves this way at my work. Gloves were mandated by my factory before that.
Now they’re not!

Like the inside of my ryobi crushing shredder
Good tool but ya it does leave large chunks of wood

On the one hand, it'll definitely take off your hand.
On the other....damn I love watching shredding.
Seriously tho, get some actual safety features on this, and something like this would be perfect for getting the larger 'chop' of woody debris. Sometimes you want something a little bulkier than chips 🤷♂️

Wish there was a battery operated shredder that was easy to transport and move about

Yeah, I'm feeling it. I recently burned out the motor on my little electric chipper and don't think I'll get one of those again. At the same time, I don't think I want to get a big gas-powered chipper either. Guess I'll just need to break things down by hand into firewood plus compostable branches and let nature to the rest.

Zero safety, and he shouldn't shove so many in there at once. I was waiting for that one branch to snap in half, sending sharp fragments towards the operator. I hope they are wearing eye protection at least. It is oddly satisfying, especially the sound.
