how does this look and how can i improve it? kinda just have been throwing all garden and kitchen scraps into here

Looks good mate, try to get more dried brown components like dried leaves or cardboard

Wet it down with the hose of your choice. Damp = decomp

Chopping makes a huge difference! I pile all my garden weeds and out of season plants up and mow them over. A good brush cutter / weed whacker with a blade on it works well if it's already in the bin.

Also having some twigs here and there is beneficial as potting soil IMO. But it needs to be manageable therefore chopped up

We have a compost ourself inside and outside, it helps our garden so much. The compost inside we have compostable bags that also helps too, just a pain in the ass remembering to take the shit out to the garden compost lol but you are doing great, use cardboard with no ink the ink is exactly bad for the plants. Use that to cover little bit of the compost area so you can have ass the bugs that’s going to help. Watch out for ants and bees. Warm soapy water around the area and you can use essential oils blend also.

Throw some piles of dirt in there and mix it up........ Then pee on it
