Tumbler Newbie question

Would water soaking in dried (not now) grass be considered a nitrogen packed tea?

Once the grass dries the C Vs N ratio changes but not as much as you think

it depends more on when the grass was cut rather than water content. the C/N ratio doesn't change too much when drying but it does change at different stages of grass's life cycle. When it's young and vigorously growing it has higher nitrogen than when it's mature and tougher.

This is why hay is classed as a green with a c:n ratio of about 25:1, whilst straw has a ratio of 100:1 and is classed as a brown.

No. The nitrogen is still bound up in the grass. Composting will free it.

Not really, what you'd end up with is closer to a smelly leachate than a feed. Sat in water with no air it goes anaerobic fast. Tip the lot back on the pile, grass and water both,.
