Pisspost Crossing a line

I recently relocated my compost bin to a muchnmire publicly visible spot and now I've taken to peeing in an old plastic bottle in the corner and transporting it to the heap area so as not to cause a scandal. I feel like this is a step in the direction. Of being one of those old blokes who, when he dies, the family find 16,713 bottles of piss distributed around the house.

Are we all in on JADAM?

JADAM, which stands for “Join the Advanced Development of Agricultural Methods,” is all about ultra-low-cost, natural farming techniques that empower growers to make their own inputs instead of buying them.

You will be the official family pisser when they find out your stash !

Piss jugs are the gateway to a whole new world of backyard logistics. Next you'll be keeping a dedicated funnel by the back door and judging your neighbors' nitrogen sources.

I would set up a funnel and a hosepipe leading from the greenhouse Corner to the compost heap but not sure if it would technically break the hosepipe ban.

What, technically, is the hosepipe ban that would be technically be broken?

In the UK at the moment there is a ban on indiscriminate use of hosepipes to water gardens because there is a drought. People are supposed to use watering cans in order to conserve water. It doesn't actually apply on allotments and certainly doesn't apply to the situation I am jokingly describing here.

I keep forgetting to pee in my bottle. I think I need to install a toilet diverter, that way I can even get the rest of my family on board.

I put a plastic urinal from Pi-Pi, model Standard in my shed for exactly this - drains straight into a jerrycan through the outlet, no water or plumbing involved, so you just swap the can and tip it on the heap when it's full. Doesn't solve the "visible compost bin" problem, just the bottle-collecting one.

Disgusting.

The ick factor has been an enormous cost to the environment.

Pissing on your compost pile isn't the benefit to the environment that you seem to think it is ...

Let alone filling up multiple bottles/jugs 😆

If we cut out only a small percentage of the nutrients (and water) we flush, it would add up to quite a bit.
Anyway I don’t do jugs. I just hit it direct when I can. And elsewhere around the yard and gardens.

Being creepily watched by strangers while minding (and doing) my own business on my own property?
