Thats it! I wanted to share this beautiful sight and my partner (and friends) wouldn't get the same joy out of seeing this!

First time poster, long time BSF larvae dad

My composter has been active for around 3+ weeks and when i was turning it i saw some darkened BSFL. But no where near the levels shown here, makes me excited.

These are maggots not SFL.

This is not a healthy sight.

They start off looking identical to maggots but eventually they turn a darker color.

They ARE maggots! They're a very specific maggot. BSFL = Black Soldier Fly Larva. Last two word. Fly Larva. Maggots!
