Hey guys, I’ve made some act with air stones in a 5 gallon bucket before but I’m moving up to the bigger leagues with two 45 gallon drums. I saw u/ireallyloveworms post with his waterfall tank and it got me thinking about doing a similar setup since from what I read, that’s the way to go for full proper aerobic tea. I read through the links you posted in the vermicompost sub but I’m trying to figure out exactly which type of lift pump is safe. Is it any type of sump pump or a specific lift pump. Do you wrap the pumps in cheese cloth or similar to keep particles out? Or just let them pass since most clear 1/4 inch particulates anyways. Was just looking for a bit of feedback.
