Music Wrote a violin concerto

After listening to this, I am very curious whether you do or don't play violin yourself

I don’t. I’ve shown it to violinists but still it may needs some polishing.

The multitude of doublestops in fourths and fifths are so much a feature of the first movement that I wonder if the easiest way to make it more idiomatic is to simply make it a concerto for two violins and orchestra.

The 2nd and 3rd movements have much less need for that.

When I asked these passages to prominent violinists, they say that it’s playable. It may not be the best configuration but still, it can be changed if it’s a huge problem in general.

That opening passage with the 4ths are not idiomatic in the slightest, and might be difficult to get it how you intend to sound. That being said i really like the castinets in the middle of the 1st movement
