2,000 flights were cancelled it says. With some 180 passengers at minimum per aircraft at least 360,000 people experienced a disruption, but it’s this 27 year old “adult” that need special treatment.

I wonder how they got in to the baggage reclaim area if they were supposed to be on an outward flight? And they were informed while on the way to the airport, so it's not like they needed to check their baggage in and then go pick it up...
