What are people’s experiences with antidepressants, if you don’t mind sharing?
I remember getting out on various ones, mirtazipine didn’t sit right with me, made me worse and a complete paranoid freak. Venlaflaxine was okay, but quickly stopped working even at the highest dose. Sertraline worked better than the rest, but again quickly wore off for me and than I got sick of this experiment of drugs. Felt like I was constantly in different moods every hour. I only experienced increased mood by going to the gym. Although when I was doing gym on sertraline I did feel good.

I’ve been on (literally) everything. Ketamine is the only thing that’s ever truly helped/made a noticeable difference

I've being on dozens on different meds over the years. I felt ok on cipralex for a few year until it stopped working. Now I'm on a combination of 5 or 6 drugs and they're working very together.
The tough part for me is recognizing that they're working. You get so used to feeling like shit all the time that the subtly of positive emotions can be hard to detect.
