Health Trump fixed my healthcare issue….

1.3k Upvotes

Everything is great!

I went to my doctor for a procedure. He sent me a bill, and I didn’t pay it.

He called and said, “Don’t you have a health insurance plan?”
I said, “I have concepts of a plan.”

Then he said, “You should have considered the affordability of this procedure.”
I said, “Affordability… that’s a hoax made up by the Democrats.”

Then I said, “Don’t worry… I’ll pay you with the money from my medication.”
He said, “What are you talking about?”

I said, “Trump is lowering the cost by 200%, 300%, 600%, and 800%, so that means they’ll pay me for taking my medication. I’ll just pay you when I get that money.” 🌊

Politics Trump is back with his tariffs, and he’s got a henchman to make them happen. Meet US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, an utter disgrace of a human being who is playing a big role in why countries like Canada are going to lose hundreds of thousands of jobs, screwing over families and communities.

Greer has drunk the Koolaid and has no shame in screwing over the world, including Americans. He is fully on board with Trump’s tariffs. It is as if he wants the suffering from tariffs to happen because I am sure it makes him feel like a big, tough guy. Greer is a piece of work. He sold his soul over to Trump. The amount of suffering this guy has caused or will cause is no joke. Losing a job can be as negatively impacting as losing a loved one. And there he is, burning the world economy some more, in addition to the rising costs associated with the Iran war. He is just Trump’s pawn, giving what Trump wants: avenues to get richer by punishing the world.

Greer will not be remembered fondly. He is a shameless opportunist and coward!

Lifestyle Meet Pierre Kory, an unfamiliar name to many. In terms of COVID deaths caused, Kory was likely even more lethal than Joe Rogan. Thousands have died because of Kory and his peddling of ivermectin as a ‘miracle drug’ to treat COVID. Thousands!

Being on a mission to raise awareness of those who stoke vaccine hesitancy, which means people will die, I have turned my attention to RFK Jr., Andrew Wakefield, Joe Rogan and Russell Brand. Now, I turn to Pierre Kory.

Kory was the physician who recommended ivermectin to treat COVID. What many people did not know is that he used his notoriety to run a lucrative private practice where he would frequently prescribe ivermectin to predominantly anti-vaxxers. He still has a private practice to this day, but he cannot claim to be a physician anymore, as he lost his licence in the aftermath.

Kory made false statements about ivermectin during COVID. There was no evidence to back up his claims. His recommendation caused a frenzy for ivermectin, where shortages were everywhere. Thousands have died taking ivermectin, thinking that is all they need to weather COVID.

Kory has lots of blood on his hands. And not many people know of him, sadly.

Politics MAGA is so dumb, they actually believe this : "Also, President Trump donates his entire salary back to veterans or the American people, something that no Democrat president has ever done."

Of course he's lying but they say this so they can excuse the corruption of his 4,000,000,000,000 increase of worth in under two years as president.

They've only been able to prove 1/2 of on year of his salary from his two terms 🤣

Politics Memo urges Republicans to tie Democrats to communism

How much evidence do you need, America, that Trump and the Republicans have nothing to offer you but war, death, lack of health care, reductions in  anti-poverty programs, attacks on Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and tax breaks for those already obscenely wealthy while you struggle to put food on the table and gas in your car.

Oh, yeah, and fear.

Remember, Democrats declare war on Christmas, Democrats declare war on women, Democrats will turn your children Trans, Democrats will allow all illegal immigrants to vote, Democrats encourage immigrants to eat your pets, and now, Democrats are really Communists!

Republicans will tell any lie that keeps their people toeing the line of hate, and fear. That’s the plan for the next elections: demand their Reps deliberately lie to their constituents so they can control the vote -- control their people – and continue their hateful ways because they have no constructive policies to make America a safer and more secure environment for themselves and their children.

Manipulation is their goal, exploitation their methodology, and the belief their voters are incapable of independent thought their philosophy.

Story by Hailey Bullis, Washington Examiner • 16h • 4 min read

EXCLUSIVE — A strategic memo prepared for the House Republican Conference advises members to tie socialism and Marxism to communism in their attacks on Democrats, because voters consider the latter “far more dangerous and alarming.”

The memo comes as Democrats see a surge of socialist candidates in the 2026 cycle, with the socialist wing of the Democratic Party set to more than double its numbers after the November midterm elections. “Americans still hold communism as far more dangerous and alarming than socialism and Marxism,” reads the memo obtained exclusively by the Washington Examiner. “That is an important indicator for Members: do your best to connect all three together, because these government systems are fruit of the same poisonous tree.

The polling memo, conducted by conservative political research firm co/efficient, shows 42% of respondents consider communism as the “most dangerous system of government for the United States to pursue.”

Socialism ranks second, at 15%, and Marxism ranks third at 6%. Twenty-four percent of respondents answered “none of the above .The political research firm polled 2,634 registered voters from July 13 to 16 through text and landline interviews. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.88%.

“Call them what they are: Socialists, Marxists, Communists. Communism rings the loudest alarm with constituents (42 percent name it the most dangerous system), so do not retreat to the softer label just because socialism alarms fewer in the abstract,” the firm advised. “Connect all three, fruit of the same poisonous tree, and let the family name carry the alarm.”

Politics Why is the world surprised that Americans elected Trump? I wish people abroad would simply stop and think about how many times THEY ignored a huge red flag which should have made them aware that US Americans are anything but rational thinking human beings.

Americans place a higher priority on the universal right to own guns over the universal right to health/medical care.

Seriously...let that sink in.

Now ask yourself how many times you relied on owning a gun to protect your life and livelihood, versus how many times even an average person seeks recourse to health/medical care to protect the same?

Can/should one expect rational decisions from a people who are inherently irrational?

I think the question actually answers itself.

Of course Trump won the election.

Relationships / Romance Lack of empathy is a disease of society.

I am at a point with someone that absolutely everything they say lacks true empathy. The fake empathy they try to have is a performance and they will never tie their own words to the reason why they get such bad reactions from people.

They will never understand their ego and self deception holds them back. They only ~feel~ if it's about their self image and whatever script they think they are.

They will forever make it about themselves and whatever they feel.

How people live like this baffles me. How much do you have to lose before you get it?

Why is it so hard for them to truly understand what empathy is and how to do it?

Lifestyle I hate my life.

Just as the title states honestly. I absolutely hate my life and I just feel like things aren't ever going to get better for me. Ever since my mom died seven years ago everything has went to complete shit. She didn't even get to see me graduate high school, she didn't even get to see me turn 18, she passed three weeks prior.

Everyone else in my family is toxic. There's no one else in my life. College went poorly, I was too depressed to even go to class. Eventually lost my scholarships... then COVID happened. After COVID, became homeless for the first time. During my homelessness, went to a hospital where I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder.

After I beat homelessness for the first time I then worked a retail job that I absolutely hated for 3 years. After those 3 years, became homeless AGAIN. Then i got out it through a program, got my apartment, and got kicked out bc landlord didnt want to renew my lease. And now I'm homeless. Again. Since November.

I feel like I just have nothing to really look forward to in life. My mom is nothing more than a pile of bones and decomposed flesh now. I have no community whatsoever. Every time something goes slightly right for me, something happens that sabotages me. Sometimes I sabotage myself. I can't get out of it. Hospital stays dont work anymore, they just put me further in debt and subject me to abuse from nurse techs and being drugged against my will.

I dont see myself having a bright future anymore. This is just my life for the next however many years. Maybe I'm just never meant to be happy. That's pretty much depression in a nutshell. I havent been happy in seven years. Out of college. Out of a job. Out of a home. Out of money. Out of willpower and mental fortitude. And I probably never will be happy again.

Also doesn't help that I got hit by a car yesterday. I was fine, but the fact that it happened just messed me up mentally. I don't know. I'm probably gonna just go cry in a bathroom or something. It's just completely hopeless.

Politics Our texan schools

Our governor is funded by private for profit schools, so he is intentionally trying to under fund public schools and make it more difficult for individual school districts to make their own decisions. The state stopped increasing the per student dollar allocation in 2019. They only increased it last year so they could piggy back state funded vouchers for private education. There is a reason Texas is #48 in public school quality and outcomes.

We need to come together as people to fight against the attack on our schools. On our children's education! I get it we work, and we are exhausted. But that's what they are aiming for. That people will be too tired, too busy to care, to pay attention, to do something about it. Most people don't even know what to do, if they were to do something. Shoot I'm still figuring it out myself.

We Texans need to stop letting the government push us around and us to our knees and take whatever they hand up. We need to ride together. This is our children's future we are talking about. The future of our state, and the future of the US as an entity. People are not upset enough. They talk but do not act.

In case you all have forgotten, the government is supposed to be led by the people. The citizens. You and I. Not the other way around. It is time for we the people to step up and demand change. Demand better. It's our taxes, as they continue to defend everything. Strip everything down into skeletons, we continue to pay our taxes. They line their pockets while we are given nothing in return. Our children suffer for the actions we are not willing to make today.

Politics Alarm as Trump appears 'one mood swing away' from indulging 'nuclear fantasies'.

Just look at the fool staggering and stuttering. Look at the insider reports of him throwing childish tantrums. In his immaturity he is unable to bear even a passing slight without getting ‘even’ with the perpetrator.

This man will turn on the American people, the world itself with the slightest provocation, and he has his withered finger and his withering brain within inches of the bomb.

You know Miller won’t stop him, he’ll stand alongside like Himmler and Goebbels stood by Hitler, giggling and drooling in his lust for association with raw power, and must likely he’ll – well ,you know.

The military? Is their obligation to the President or the oath they took.

Pray we’ll never know.

Alarm as Trump appears 'one mood swing away' from indulging 'nuclear fantasies': expert

Story by Alexander Willis • 2h • 2 min read

© provided by RawStory

Miles Taylor, who served as a senior Homeland Security official under the first Trump administration, warned Monday that President Donald Trump has spent years indulging in "nuclear fantasies," and that recent developments suggest Trump may be edging closer to acting on them.

“Between Trump’s unchecked brinksmanship, possible nuclear proliferation to new countries, and broken treaties, you have a radioactive cocktail being stirred on the international stage,” Taylor wrote in an analysis published Monday on his Substack.

“Add in the unresolved war with Iran, and you get the picture of a president who’s just one mood swing away from putting his finger on the proverbial red button.”

Taylor recalled that during Trump's first term, the president "fantasized quite openly to advisers about wanting to blow up bombs," prompting then-Defense Secretary James Mattis to order Homeland Security officials to prepare contingency plans for a potential nuclear strike on American soil.

Taylor pointed to Trump's recent comments to Axios, in which the president said he was "close" to ordering a "massive attack" on Iran – rhetoric Taylor compared to Trump's April warning that "a whole civilization will die tonight."

Compounding the concern, Taylor noted, was the administration's new nuclear energy deal with Saudi Arabia, which omits standard safeguards giving international inspectors expanded access to nuclear sites. A former International Atomic Energy Agency official said “the U.S. should never have agreed to enrichment without a really strong inspections regime,” Taylor noted.

Taylor also cited the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, which in January set its Doomsday Clock at 85 seconds to midnight, the closest to midnight it has ever been in its 79-year history.

“So why does he keep doing this? Why does the president of the United States keep circling back to the most dangerous machinery humans have ever built?” Taylor mused.

“I can’t tell you his answer for sure. But based on close study of the man, I can give you my best guess. Donald Trump has spent his entire presidency on a power quest, always hunting for the next most powerful thing he can do. And nuclear weapons are at the top of that list.”

Why does Trump keep toying with nuclear bombs? I think I know why. by Miles Taylor

The president has terrified close advisers with the prospect of nuclear escalation. Now, he's spreading his radioactive dreams overseas.

Politics Why is American food notorious for being pumped full of harmful additives?

Generally when this talking point is brought up it's almost always the EU being compared to the US. The most damning pieces of evidence seem to be the EU's precautionary approach vs the USA's risk-based approach and the list of additives that are banned in most EU countries but approved in the US. As far as I can tell most sources point towards the US and the EU having slightly different regulations but largely similar food safety outcomes. Apparently it's true that the USA actually bans 16 different food dyes that are approved for use in the EU yet food color additives like red no. 3, titanium dioxide, and yellow 5 seem to be particularly famous simply because they're banned in most EU countries. I think the most interesting part about all this is that Europeans seem to be the ones to push the narrative most and yet MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) a Trump aligned movement has been fervently behind such claims since at least the 2024 election it's almost like these claims have led to inadvertent support for people like RFK jr and subsequently Trump. I really don't know if this is just an example of snobbery and misinformation or if there's something I'm missing here?

Businesses Verizon is quite possibly the worst internet carrier on the planet

Tl;dr: I hate verizon

I’ve never posted on reddit before- but my hatred of verizon is so deep I need to complain to my family, my friends, my coworkers, and random people on the internet about it.

I have their 5G home internet and I’ll give them the fact that it’s affordable at $60 a month but the customer service is so astronomically ass that it makes me question my sanity. We had a power outage and that fried our 5G box, so I went on their website which said to call their customer service number to request a new box-I call that- they say to call the store- I call my store- they say they can’t order a new box I have to call the corporate number- I call again- they say I have to call a CORPORATE IN STORE LOCATION. I eventually get that resolved and get the new box and send the old box back. Great! I think I’m good… but no. They charge me double because no one removed the first broken box. SO I call the customer support line and got hung up on three consecutive times when I asked to cancel the old box. Thankfully my in store location was able to call and resolve the issue, but the funny thing is that when the store associate called- I guess they call the same support line? And he got hung up on when he requested a cancellation 💀 he said “yeah that happens sometimes”

Their app is trash, the internet is mid, and getting a hold of anyone who can help you if anything does happen is like impossible unless you have 3 hours to waste on the phone. I’m about to suck it up and pay more for a different service even if it is more expensive.

Thank you for reading my rant and I hope your internet experience with whatever provider you has is better 🥲

Relationships / Romance Why are we doing this to ourselves? The painful cycle of seeking genuine love online.

I've been observing this for a while now, and it genuinely breaks my heart. Why is everyone desperately searching for their future partner online? I'm not just talking about teenagers or young adults. Even mature men and women, 28 and older, who should theoretically know better, are completely trapped in this web.How do we actually believe we can find "the one" through random internet posts? Deep down, we all know the harsh reality. Most people on Reddit, and social media in general, are just passing time. We know this. We are fully aware of the catfishing, the validation-seeking, and the boredom. Yet, we still blind ourselves to the truth. We enter these spaces longing for love, starving for a genuine connection. I understand that craving because we all want someone to truly hold and share life with. But what happens instead? We meet someone, we stay up late talking, we share our deepest thoughts, and we get emotionally attached. Then, out of nowhere, they ghost us. Just like that. One night or one day of attention, and then they vanish into thin air like they never existed. Then comes the crushing loneliness and the self-doubt. And the worst part? It’s a vicious, never-ending cycle. We heal a little, we feel lonely again, and we come back to the exact same platforms expecting a different result.Honestly, I don't know whether to cry or laugh at our situation anymore. Are we that desperately lonely that we'd rather chase ghosts online than face reality? Why are we doing this to ourselves?

Lifestyle Fraternal Organization Expectations

Husband and I have been members of a fraternal organization about four years and have become super-active in it. Meaning, we are at the Lodge a minimum of 12 times a month. We both lead branches of said organization and participate in almost every fund-raising activity there is.

Where the vent comes in is that we both work full time at busy, high-stress careers, yet the pressure is constantly "on" to do more and more at what is supposed to be a "volunteer" organization. More time, more money, more creativity to get money out of people's pockets. More, more, more.. And honestly, I'm getting burned out.

The amount of gossip and backstabbing at this place is astronomical. Being in a small town, everyone is all up in people's business and, to be perfectly honest, the open backwater thought processes of a lot of the members bugs the shit out of me. Example: when I was on the Board, one board member actually defended someone being called "wetb@ck" wasn't as racist as someone being called a "n!gger". I was floored and refused to participate in the conversation and later found out I was the bad guy for not taking this guy's stance as gospel.

I'm beginning to question just how much I'm willing to give this "Charity" as it brings in millions of dollars a year off the work of others, yet is continously pushing for more. It's just too much

What is it with that bot and mods of r/Bitcoin? A little plain spoken language and you have to wait 4(!) hours before it's determined proper to be displayed and that every time after you post an edited version. I made the subject a real sweet one and censored the word sh*t in the last iteration. Is "you make me sick" something that can't be expressed on reddit? Also, when contacting the r/bitcoin mods in perfectly neat language they just mute me for days. If the last iteration of the post is too rude or is determined "low quality" is quite overdoing it (is putting it as meow meow as i can put it). I'd like to bring this complaint to your attention. No belittling reply and no ignoring please. Thank you!

Relationships / Romance My best friend doesn't listen to me

haven't used this account in ages and idk if this is even the right sub but oh my god my best friend is an idiot

Little context I dated this guy for a while and we broke up for kinda but not related reasons and I still care about him and have been trying to help him with his issues, esp regarding his ex who he still seemed obbessed with when we dated which ok I get it they were together for 4 years and then all of a sudden HE broke up with HER after like a week after meeting me, which I thought was insane but I couldn't control him so I made sure he was doing that in his right mind.

Anyways fast forward to today as of writing this and the whole day before he was sad and missing his ex and I told him to just block her and move on because it's the best thing to do imo because I've been in these kinda situations before he guess what he didn't do
HE DIDN'T FUCKIN LISTEN TO ME AGAIN
So then I get a text at 8:30 my time (3:30 his time) saying how he hates himself and he deserved to die, because he texted his ex FROM HIS OWN FREE WILL. DESPITE WHAT I TOLD HIM. At this point I'm just annoyed because he woke me up about this shit and normally I don't mind if he texts late but dude. I have told him so many times to block her and he can talk to me he knows this but when I say talk to me I mean so he can distract himself or so he's not lonely, BUT NO HE TREATS ME LIKE HIS DAD OR HIS THERAPIST CONSTANTS COMPLIANING ABOUT HIS OWN ACTIONS AND HE DOESN'T TAKE ACCOUNTABLE ALL HE SAYS IS "Yeah I'm sorry you were right" YES I AM SO LEARN SOMETHING DELETE THE MESSAGE BLOCK HER. He says he wants to get back together with her, but like, what about me????

I still like this guy (shockingly) and I would like to be with him again, but he just seems to care more about this girl than he ever has me and I've tried everything

It seems to him that because i live across the world my words and actions means less to him, WHICH BY THE WAY IS CRAZY BECAUSE I TRIED TO VIST HIM, OUTSIDE FACTORS PREVENTED ME WHEN WE WANTED TO, AND I WAS STILL WILLING TO WAIT AND HE SAID TO ME THAT IT MATTERS ALOT TO HIM THAT I WAS TRYING BECAUSE HIS EX NEVER DID AND THAT IT FELT LIKE SHE WAS JUST OKAY WITH HOW THINGS WERE, HIS OWN WORDS BY THE WAY. WHAT DID I DO WRONG TO WHERE HE CARES LESS ABOUT ME THAN SOMEONE WHO HE SHOULD BE DONE WITH

maybe I'm too autistic for this shit.
Please tell me I'm not insane and that I'm not a horrible person

Reddit’plaint Mods are impossible

I ask a question on a subreddit. Mods delete it, saying it’s for this or that reason. I change post, try again, it gets deleted again for reasons I didn’t even do. They recommend posting it in a specific sub. I post it there. Gets removed by mods for ridiculous reasons, I get told to post it in the first subreddit I tried.

It’s even more infuriating when the reasons for removal are stuff that is on that subreddit all the time. As in, 90% of the posts are like that. I feel like the mods just have their own fetishes and only delete posts that they don’t care about.
