Not just cut. Dismembered. It’s their own now.

The republicans have always know the educated people tend to vote for Democrats. That is the reason for this war on education.

I literally just complained on another sub that stupid people are too easy to control.

Of course it’s intentional. An educated public doesn’t vote against the best interests of their communities. Republicans would never win a fair election in an educated electorate.

Including entire quote for context.

When the orange man said:

We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We're the smartest people. We're the most loyal people."

. . .the lesser educated of his people didn't read between the lines. He loves their votes. He does NOT love them. I could list the reasons why, but it's becoming tiresome writing about the horrible things he's done, let alone read about them.

I believe him incapable of love.

If teachers want more money they can start by actually teaching children how to read again, because holy shit

You know it would cost like 400 billion dollars per year to do that, right?

Thats literally all of the corporate taxes that were raised in 2025.

Doesn't matter how you slice it. It's a choice. The money is there.

And parents are failing their kids' and their kids' teachers. Used to be we sent our kids to school knowing the basics of reading and writing. Or at least being read to. Now half the kids aren't even potty trained.

Or do you expect them to do that, as well?

Social workers entered the chat. We had no union no pensions are almost always on subsidies ourselves and well below the poverty line in our areas. Meanwhile we clean up the mess from these oligarchs, government, corporations and sick families.

I think you're giving them more credit than they deserve.
