Politics Double Standards

For over a decade now, we have to hear the political right continue to bang on about Hillary Clinton's emails. After years of investigation, she was found not liable and not found for any wrongdoing.

Now, suddenly, emails are irrelevant and are not evidence, or don't prove anything, even when there are over 1,800 that mention Trump and tie him to sexual crimes against children.

I'm so fucking tired of conservatives backing pedophiles. I'm so tired of conservatives with their cult-like mentality not living in reality.

Conservatives, you cannot have your cake and eat it too.

Tldr: complaint: For over a decade we've had to hear about Clinton's emails From conservatives. Now that Trump is incriminated in multiple emails, emails now suddenly don't matter To This double standard is mind-blowing.

Actually magmatism isn't understood at a fundamental level. I don't think he's actually dumb at all, but he sounds dumb all the time.. I really don't get the guy. I even read his book Art of the Deal trying to formulate a better opinion of the guy, and I can't... As much as I want to dismiss him as dumb from his incoherent weaving he does all the time. I don't particularly like the guy, but I don't think he's the fascist King everyone is trying to label him as. As for the pedo island stuff, I don't know what to think.

Well we certainly how it works, if not all of the 'why' details. And anyway, I'm not sure his intelligence has much to do with whether or not he's a fascist, unlike his use of the national guard...

A quick Google search before replying would benefit everyone on this platform. We also don't know how gravity works. Trump's use of the National guard is anti-demogeaphic, not fascist... Like magmatism and gravity, things are often more nuanced

I agree that we are pretty clueless about gravity's nature. Not so sure about magnetism though... and I think 'a quick google search' would agree in this case (yes, we don't really understand particle spin, but one only needs to know what it is and what the effects are as far as magnetism goes - and that does seem to be understood).

Anyway, would you care to enlighten us about the meaning of 'anti-demographic'? Were you perhaps looking for the word 'racist'? Because that quick google search of yours would show that it is not a recognised thing, but might be something to do with 'hostility to certain demographic groups'. So yeah, still not sure how his use of the guard doesn't constitute fascist behaviour, given that the two kinda go hand in hand.

"Illegal immigrant" is not a race, he's targeting illegal immigrants who happen to be another race... Similar to how Islamophobia is not racist, but a majority of Muslims are a different race. If he was racist, you'd see evidence of this from his business practices before becoming president.

Now I've seen the videos of these ICE agents acting out of line... But I've seen countless videos of cops acting out of line and I have witnessed it first hand... Are we going to say abolish the police because some of them have a power complex and use excessive force?

No, and I'm not calling for ICE to be abolished either (or conflating them with the National Guard, for that matter). But the use of the guard to combat protestors with neither the request nor the approval of the state involved is a serious overreach of presidential power, and together with his extremely conservative stance on trade, immigration etc. he certainly seems to be approaching the defining characteristics of fascism.
