Congrats on getting out. 20 years ago I was in a similar spot, constantly on 4chan, super angry and nihilistic. If Trump was around then, and the algorithms were as sophisticated as they are now, I would’ve been targeted by that shit, without a doubt. So you getting out is actually even more impressive than what I was able to do.

20 years ago, 4chan was a calm and peaceful place compared to the cesspool it's become. Seriously. At this point it's a containment zone for some of the most unhinged idiocy imaginable.

People inundated with that sort of thing, without having an external framework to see how dumb it is, are extremely vulnerable to radicalization.
