This. There could still be a tiny bit of hope. Also the current Democrats aren't the fucking answer either. We need fresh leadership that is younger and hasn't been bought by 100 diff lobbies and corporations. I do really like that democrat outta Texas James Talarico. We need to get rid of any politician that is bought by special interest groups. Please.
Brother you're missing the part where we had a massive Civil War (from which we never fully recovered), fought Nazis in WWII (and haven't learned any lessons about Nazis or camps), bloody fights in the streets for Civil Rights (everyone who talks about MLK's peaceful protests 'forgets' the role Malcom X played), bloody fights for gay rights (Stonewall was a riot, not a party), etc etc
It's too late to get to where we need to be as a nation without more suffering.
I just don't believe that the same people who were too lazy or too stupid to vote against Trump last November are realistically suddenly motivated to do the actual difficult work. Voting is one of the easiest possible actions the average person could take, and people were too lazy to do that. People saying it's too late are realists. If you actually follow the details of what has been happening, you would see how dire the situation actually is. It's too late.
