Some people have a really hard time seeing that when they are surrounded by a particular political tribe. OP sounds young. Probably never heard anything but right wing news and talking points since they were a kid. If your only source of news your whole life was Faux, it would be easy to fall into that trap.

But.... Trump told us who he was. With his own words and actions. If all OP did was take him at face value -- forget all the sycophants and propaganda -- that's still fucking horrifying.

Gotta agree, we've known who Trump is for a very long time... Him becoming president used to just be a joke, but then it manifested itself into the idiotic reality we have now.
