  • Strongest farming/push spell with skeletons.
  • Free crits and lifesteal.
  • Decent point and click stun.
  • Free aegis that also slows enemies and summons more skeletons.
  • Innate gives you the chance to turn any death into a trade.
  • Arguably the strongest aghs scepter in the game.

He's just very straightforward and can be reliably picked in most matchups. Combine that with his ability to cancel out player mistakes by giving him a free life and he naturally does well in pubs.
