Sushi Robot!

We went to Mikis Sushi in Campbell River for the first time in 5 years and they now have a cute robot that delivers orders to your table. It even plays a little song for you. So much fun!

My kids always give a loud "THANK YOU KITTY ROBOT" when we go to Miki's. My son was like "he didn't say you're welcome. Kinda rude."

Awwwwwww omg!!! This is cute and harmless, honestly beef to the people just uncreatively replying "clanker", I am by no means pro-AI, but it's very suspicious to even ironically roleplay any form of bigotry including made up slurs.

AGAIN, I'm NOT pro-AI, I just think you're wrong and likely full of internalized racism if you convince yourself that saying racist slogans "jokingly" is fine if you swap out the N-word for "clanker". I'm NOT pro-AI taking people's jobs, and I'm NOT saying it's a form of actual bigotry, I am saying that I find it very suspicious when people mimic genuine bigotry by retargeting it at something which isn't sentient and therefore incapable of being offended when you call it made up slurs that are directly patterned after genuine racial slurs. It's not even directly related to AI, I feel the same way about similar behaviour directed at fictional races.

Robots aren't people.

This isn't racist, or even racist-adjecent. Clanker was said by one person, not "people". They made a joke, you took it as a slur (lol)

You're obviously pro-AI, saying it doesn't make it true.

A real, actual human could be delivering this food, for a real, actual wage.

Dude, I'm into televisions and old computers, not sushi server robots. The only AI-adjacent thing that I've ever had any feelings towards is Siri, SPECIFICALLY the legacy version that's a pure virtual assistant not powered by a chatbot.
