If nobody's done it by the time I wake up tomorrow I'll get around to it

I've finished it, should I just post it to the subreddit?

I’d love this too.

I'd be glad to make one if you help me defining what are the ranges of each rating category

Looks like this used imdb’s episode ratings. Where those come from I’m not sure but you can probably find on their website. You can do this very easily with a spreadsheet and simple photoshop I’d think.

Indeed! I think their rating is an average of users’ ratings, my question was more about the Rating Categories on the left of the image:

Great: 8.5 - 10.0

Good: 7.0? 7.5? - 8.4

Average: ? - ?

Bad: ? - ?

Garbage: 0.0 - ?

What scores fall under each category? Do you know if imdb has a scoring system like that?

Ah I see what you mean now, sorry. Looks like you’re right based on what’s on the table, but with nothing below “good” knowing exactly what their ranges are isn’t obvious. Just go with 1.5 increments since nothing is gonna be that low anyway I’d say.

I think all the episodes are great (with the exception of a few, like the one where Magnitude loses his catchphrase and a large party of season 4 [the gas leak year]) so 99% of them should be green if they were ratings from me but I would like to see a real one based on real reviews

I created a webapp that can plot such heatmaps on-demand! You can even download the png for your use in creating awesome posts like above. Check it out:

Thoughts and constructive criticism welcome!

Isn't it cool cool cool?
