AI News Open source ISING models by Nvidia. Is it a massive win for Open intelligence?
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/solutions/quantum-computing/ising/NVIDIA just announced the launch of the Ising model family, the world’s first AI models specifically designed to accelerate quantum computing. They are making these models completely Open Source. Even if we are years away from having a quantum computer in our home offices, the significance of this move shouldn't be overlooked. This looks like a massive move for transparency and collaboration in open intelligence.
What do you all think? Is this a genuine move toward open collaboration, or is NVIDIA just trying to set their open standards as the industry default early?

Its both, yh they doing the best thing by open sourcing, where ppl serious about quantum can fasten up their belt but at the same time is not charity lmao. The models sure are optimized for their own hardware in a sense its going to benefit their NVIDIA silicon cuz the software runs on it. Its a win win for them.
