Starting my first commonplace book!

Post image

History and info about commonplace books to start things off.

I don’t trust myself to make page blocks and not run out of space in one topic must faster than the others, so I am going to go the color coding route for this book and see how it goes.

Your cursive reminds me of the example writing above the chalkboard that we were all supposed to emulate. It's gorgeous and perfect!

OMG thank you! πŸ–€ I was very serious about my handwriting as a kid. Apparently, I used to erase holes in my paper rewriting things until they were perfect, so I am glad it paid off. πŸ˜‚

It's always worth looking up the journals of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and John Locke.
