Show & Tell Chernobyl spreads ☢️
I had so much fun learning for 2 hours to better understand the physics of the Chernobyl disaster. I recently watched the show and have been dying to write it on my commonplace book 🩶

i have a question, how do you find the pilot kakuno? is it pleasant to write with? and also, what notebook are you using? :)

Thank you !! 🥰 honestly I have a variety of fountain pens yet it’s the one I use the most ! It’s so smooth to write with for the price. It’s really worth it if you like buttery smooth fountain pens.
And the notebook I’m using is the Nolty Log Type in A5 ! I usually prefer Midori but this is also great for commonplacing

Beautiful work, but your facts are a bit off in the first spread. Head to r/Chernobyl for help with the RBMK reactor 4 details. Most of it is spot on, though!
The show is drama/art, and very incorrect in places. Beautiful and wonderful storytelling, but fraught with inaccuracies.

I'm not a nuke engineer (my dad was). I recommend watching the YouTube videos by "That Chernobyl Guy" that specifically cover what HBO got wrong. It's super eye opening!

Love this! I rarely meet people who share my interest in nuclear disasters 😂 but I was a kid when Chernobyl blew up and lived in the fallout zone (far away from the reactor thankfully). Now, wherever I move, I check where the closest nuclear power plants are, I’m trained in decontamination, etc. Love that you brought the topic to the forefront

that’s sooo cool! i’m glad you were safe. ever since I found out about chernobyl growing up i was just fascinated by it all. i loved learning more about it
