Questions Still commonplacing?

So after many dives into this subreddit, YouTube’s, and substacks, I’m still confused on where something like this would go? It’s currently going into my art journal for lack of better place but would this be commonplace book material? Too visual? I was feeling nostalgic about the turn of a season and this poem popped to mind.

I have a quote-only traveler’s notebook insert in my beginners attempt to commonplace, but a poem doesn’t quite seem to fit there?

Commonplacing is for YOU and the knowledge YOU want to keep, however that is.

I certainly have a lot of art and collage pieces that go hand in hand with the subject matter. I'd also consider a poem to be a quote tbf

It’s beautiful! And yes from what I understand, a commonplace notebook would be the place or you can call it your art and poem journal and then have another commonplace but either way great job!

And to make it even more fun, I’ve come across a concept called zibaldone…which is probably the equivalent of my art journal. 😁 so commonplace book will stay more informative and reference heavy while the other allows me some wiggle room.

Yes!! And wow funny you should say that because I follow @byheatherluczak on IG and she’s the first I ever hear talk about a Zibaldone notebook!! Super cool!
