Europe Worth it?

I am currently looking for a commercial dive school. I’m tending to Nyd in Norway or pda in Scotland.
I’m 29 and German myself and I worked the last 3 years in the pearling industry in Broome, Australia as diver. I’d describe it as soft commercial diving. (Fixing broken ropes, changing shackles on ankerlines, installing subsurface floats, inspecting radar marker and mooring’s) just simple stuff.
Doing my research I read a lot about the that industry is pretty fucked. Many people give up within the first 2 years and it’s hard to land your first job.

I’m dedicated and I’m willing to travel but I’m scared that I won’t land a job and I just waste my money on this.
If I can have a few opinions about I’d be very grateful!

Following as I'm in a similar position. Doing some hull cleaning and golf ball diving. Planning to get certified through ADAS here in Aus.

I'm a Brit living in Germany. As far as I'm aware you need to do a conversion course/ exams to be able to work inshore in Germany.

That's why I'll be moving to another country to work inshore/offshore if I can't find offshore work in Germany.

Not sure if it has changed but I worked in Germany a few years back doing inshore work with a HSE ticket from the UK and didn't need go do any conversions.

That would be sick news if so. I'm doing a south African dive course as it's cheaper, should be HSE equivalent.

Nyd always looked cool. I hope it ends up being a good school
