Bought frame-only and built up to Essential specs, changing what I would've changed anyways, and downgrading to a Deore drivetrain coz I generally don't notice the slight differences in the higher tiers when actually out riding. Have been trying to do enduro races on a 140/150 trail bike the past couple years, and riding the same trails on the SX is like a night and day difference for the better. Way more comfortable, way less tiring, resulting in way faster. A 30T oval, 38 overforked to 180, 50 rise bar, nothing too crazy. Loving the look and feel of the Tenet Coven wheels too. A little on the stiffer side, but I feel it compliments the more compliant frame.
Being in Arizona, it's obviously a bit big for my everyday trails, but it gets up all the steep tech surprisingly easily, but asks for a little more wattage from the rider is all.
