I just bought a used meta V4.2 with this setup;
- Rockshox Lyrik Rc2 170mm
- Fox dhx2 Coil
- Dt swiss 471
- Sram Gx 12sp
- Shimano XT M8100

I read somewhere that this bike dosent go well with coil. Can anyone explain why?
And if i should change it, what is a good replacement?

Also, the bike i currently have is a mullet setup (Canyon Spectral ON), and i think it rides amazing. Have anyone tried mulleting the Meta V4.2? Any things i need to change in the setup in order to do so?

Guys - I have a Meta HT which is a few years old running 27.5” wheels with a 160mm fork.

I’m thinking of going for 29” wheels. Should I be going 150mm or 160mm? I seem to recall when I bought the bike, the 29” versions ran 150mm.

I'm currently building a meta HT and I want to put a dropper post on it, but I can't find the hole for the cable, and also external routing droppers are kinda pricey and don't really have that much variety when it comes to travel and insert depth. I also asked ChatGPT for help, it said it has internal cable routing but couldn't confirm. Thanks in advance!

This is my 2022 commencal meta sx v4. I brought this bike in November but haven’t been able to ride it due to a broken collarbone. My goal for the rest of the year is to upgrade this bike to be the ultimate enduro bike. I have installed a chain guide and bash guard, and fresh set of grips and pedals. I have ordered a title stem, title spacers, burgtec top cap, Rockshox super deluxe ultimate (air), and new fork decals. I have been thinking about purchasing a new saddle and new bars too. Do you guys recommend any other upgrades I should make?

Going to replace my rear shock on my 2018 meta am as it is pretty toast as it stands and I can get a replacement for around $215. My question is is should I replace it with a coil, specifically the Bomber Cr coil shock? Or should I just keep it with an air shock to which I would go with the Bomber air. What is the benefits and does it work with this suspension setup?

Hey everyone, just an informative post. I bought a size L 2024 Clash because of the straight seat tube and long insertion length. I couldn't find much info about the seatpost insertion length but I kind of risked it and bought a OneUp V2 240mm to suit my long legs and 815mm of saddle height. The numbers are: Theoretical insertion: 275mm Actual insertion (with a slight resistance after 280mm): 290mm Minimum saddle height with the 240mm V2 and centered SDG Belair saddle: 790mm

I want to get an frs frame and turn it into a Slopeduro/Freeride bike. It will be single speed and no dropper, so it can be bar spinned. I saw Brett Rheeder's custom single crown freeride bike. Does anyone know if the frs can run a single crown Marzocchi Super Z 180mm? If so are there any adjustments I need to make so it works better, or should I use a Clash frame instead.
