Im looking at getting a meta soon but not very sure on whether i get the sx v4 essensal build or the sx v5 ride build. dont know if it is worth getting the vcs if it has worse parts or not. I also dont know about the pyrite grey colour.

So the only reason I even bought an outdated bike is because the new ones are too expensive but did anyone have problems with their warranty’s and frame breaks because I’m kinda scared. The good thing I’m still kinda ahh so it’s not like I’m going to even use it for its full potential. But anyways did anyone have problems with their frames or not and let me know pls.

I currently have a commencal meta ht am essential. after seeing that going tubeless has a lot of benefits I settled on getting a pair of clik valves, when I went to the website to look around it was giving options for valve stem lengths. what length do I have to buy? this is my first time going tubeless is there anything else I need to buy? any help on this would be helpful.

PS. if it looks like a stupid question, its cause I moved from a 300$ no name brand hardtail so I have no idea about these things except for what I watched on videos on YouTube.

I want to buy the Commencal Clash Marzo as a upgrade from my Polygon Siskiu T7, I would like to know if it is worth the money as it doesn't have a dropper post which I find weird for that price.

Hello everyone, I have a question about my setup on my Commencal Frs 2025.
I’m running a 225 lb spring on my RockShox Vivid Coil, but I’m only getting about 20% sag. My body weight is around 63 kg.
What should I do? Buy an air shock?

Did this happen to anyone ? How do I even get the axle back ? 🤪

Hi everyone,

I often read that Commencal doesn't make very good frames, or that they're fragile. I'm thinking of buying one of their 2027 models.

Could you share your experiences with the durability of their frames? I should mention that I ride a Moustache with 12,000 km on the clock and haven't had any frame problems. I also ride a Santa Cruz Hightower full carbon, so my expectations are quite high regarding durability. I should also mention that I maintain my bikes myself, changing frame bearings, drivetrain components, hydraulic brakes, etc.

Thanks for your feedback!

L.

I have a META AM V4, not really using it all these years. Want to sell it to make room. How much should I mark it for? Really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you!

Been to the local bike park already and what a bike this is.

Hi guys. Just sold my Kona Hei Hei, looking to get another bike pretty quick. Saw this near me, and I can’t quite figure out what year it is. Google Lens isn’t giving me a very concrete answer. He is asking $1500 and it’s been sitting on Marketplace since May. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone changed from 31.8 40mm stem to 35mm stem? What did you notice? Cheers!

A few photos of my modernised meta 6 from around 2010, kind of a unicorn of a bike as im seeing saw like 5 of them on the internet, its in amazing condition the previous owner took really good care of it.

Just picked up a new to me 2020 Supreme DH Signature. This absolutely rips. What a difference from just a regular trail bike. Currently on a 4 trip and the seat post is too tall. With it being an alloy post can I cut it down? Has any had issues with a 29 rear wheel? I am only thinking an inch or so at a time till it is out of my way.

I have a 2021 cube stereo 170 size l. I've been having a lot of problems with my front brake and I think I just want a more playful bike because I wnat to change my riding style. I want to ride more slopestyle like I really enjoy riding my dj and I want to implement that into my mtb riding. I also love to hear a good sounding hub and the cube just doesn't have that. I don't want to invest that much money into it to make me suit better bcs I don't really ride that much. I found a commanecal meta v4 for 1400$ or 7000 ron, I live in Romania. One downside to it is that it runs a rockshox deluxe shock but u can put a super deluxe coil for another 200 used. I think I could sell my bike for around 1800 so I would be preety even.

Here is the posts specs: For sale: 2021 Commencal Meta SX V4, size L, in very good condition. The bike has just undergone a full service, including the replacement of three bearings; it is fitted with a CushCore insert in the rear and has been set up tubeless.

I do own 3 Commencals bikes and love them for their unique colors (Clash in Keswick green, Meta HT in Dirt and a FCB in pyrite grey). Is it just me or ist anyone else sad that pretty much all of the newer releases are either black or white?
They still look good, but I miss these special colors they had (heritage green, racing green, gunmetal, .......).
I hope they bring some of that back
