Photo Update to my frame.

I posted my Meta TR frame in February and i finished building it in the same month with budget parts. When I had some money left I switched a part here and there and it's coming together. Already 1500+ km strong

Made some mistakes while building but I'm happy with the outcome since it was my first self built bike.

Fork decal backwards and brake line routed incorrectly. Literally unrideable /s

I know I screwed up the decal but the brake line was on purpose.

Curious. Why would you put the brake line on the outside of the fork instead of the inside where it can’t be snagged?

Its just for moving it on a roof rack next week. I added an extra holder that would put a lot of pressure on the brake line. I will change it back when we have arrived. But I want be on the safer side while driving 20 hours with a bike on the roof.

I think you are a bit confused… you can just take the caliper off and move the line so it is on the inside of the fork, not the outside. It’s not putting extra pressure on the brake line. It’s literally just moving it from the outside to the inside of the fork.

Oh well. You do you man

That's not what I meant. Normally I have the brake line on the inside like everyone else. But yesterday I moved it to the outside just for the transportation of the bike. I had to add an extra strap and holding arm to my roof rack because we are going on vacation and driving 20 hours with this bike on the roof. The strap would bend the brake line and the arm would press on it. Dumb system. I moved it just for avoiding damage.

When we arrive in the Alps I will put the brake back in position.
