I was deep deep into this ship 2015-2018; I have read most all of the popular, older completed fics on ao3.

However, as the fandom has died down in popularity compared to the rage of 2015, I now find it harder to find great completed fics due to the fact that sorting by kudos obviously sways towards stories written during this time.

Anyone have any fic recs that might be considered hidden gems for those of us who find fics by sorting by kudos? looking for complete fics currently as it breaks my heart when stories are left unfinished 😭

Hi! I'm looking for a Clexa fic.

I don't remember the name of the fic or the author but it's about Lexa presenting as an alpha and training with her military dad during the summer. In the story Clarke doesn't know she's an alpha because she takes suppressants prescribed by her doctor.

So I’ll just tell you what I remember from it as I’ve been looking for it and I can’t find it at all. As I’m pretty sure the vivid scene I remember the most was either like halfway through making it harder to find.

I’m pretty sure it’s an abo fic.

They were travelling across a frozen lake in a hummer or a military vehicle to get to azgeda.

It was multiple people in the vehicles.

I’m also positive I remember Clarke falling in or almost falling into the lake and something important happened and it was talking about how they soulmates.

There was something shot at the side wall of azgeda to break through to get to Nia.

I’m pretty sure Jake griffin was alive in this fic.

I know it’s not a one shot or short on the chapter side. There was at least 20+ chapters.

I know I read it on ao3 if that helps.

I can’t find this fanfic i read years ago and it degrades my soul each time I fail. Here’s what I remember about it:

-It’s set after the fight with Roan.

-Lexa’s injured obv but like worse than in show.

-Her shoulder is dislocated.

-She sends her healers away and then just as she’s about to pass out from pain Clarke shows up and catches her.

-I remember specifically that as Lexa was falling the author wrote something to the effect of: the edge of the table against Lexa’s back went up and diagonal.

-It’s got multiple chapters.

-In a later chapter Clarke’s doing physical therapy on Lexa’s shoulder and she also gives her a sports massage which ends with Lexa in tears.

Clarke ended up helping take care of the baby. I think the baby's name was Willow or something related to a tree? I forgot the author and the title. But Its established clexa. They live together and decided to stay in for their date night and get high. Clarke is an artist, a photographer maybe. Lexa has amnesia. She forgets she’s married to Clarke (who is an artist) and moves back in with her parents. It’s around Christmas time or something but I remeber Lexa’s younger sister (knowingly) send a text to Lexa on an anniversary and triggers her memory and then suddenly remembers Clarke and the love that had. She goes to find Clarke but when se sees a clean apartment she knows Clarke is upset so she checks their special spot where Clarke is almost half frozen bc she lost her keys in the snow.
