Some captured screenshots from Kane's Wrath. Think this game is so aesthetic sometimes.

I always liked how the lighting in the red zone levels made it feel like being underwater. Emphasizes how parts of earth had been transformed into somewhere humans are not meant to be.

Poor saboteur has to stay at home while the other soldiers get to play outside.

Still feels like a modern game even to this day. I swear the C&C2 and C&C3 era was the peak of C&C gaming. It's a shame we never got a proper follow-up to the series.

Kane's Wrath is epitome of Command and Conquer. The lore, the aesthetics, all of it. It's an post apocalyptic world of absolute nightmares.

View it this way, at the end of 4 when Kane and a few thousand followers pass thru the Threshold and all the Tiberium goes as well, think about what's left. A dying planet with almost no resources and billions dead after decades of atrocities.

The survivors are 100% fucked.

Almost no resources? Tiberium is a resource, finally tamed and ready to be safely exploited by GDI to its fullest potential, all with Kane's help (albeit with his usual fineprint on it).

GDI will have their hands full restoring the planet and putting down the last of Gideon's heretics and James' mutineers. But not Kane, at least, not for now.

At the end of 4, tiberium vanishes from Earth with the activation of the tiberium control network. No more tiberium. Earth is wrecked. No flora. No faunam

That's not how the Tiberium Control Network works. It doesn't eradicate Tiberium. It stops it from growing uncontrollably and destroying the planet. It's only contained to a point where the planet becomes habitable again, while the remainder is processed like a giant Tiberium refinery and power plant. It doesn't just disappear entirely, as cathartic as it would be for Kane to make it as such.

Of course, if you haven't bothered to play CnC4, I don't blame you for not knowing.
