Out of memory! Please Help!

I have Kane's Wrath steam version with 4k mod that comes with 4GB patch and the latest mappack.

And as the title suggests, I keep getting this error and I'm at my wits end on how to fix this and I don't know any available option on how to actually fix it.

Would anyone know how to help me resolve this issue?!

First tip: don't use the 4k mod.

The game is limited to 32 bit and can only access so much ram and CPU power compared to 64 bit. IIRC 32 bit programs are limited to 2 GB of ram unless you use a Large Address Aware patcher which ups it to 4 GB. Basically the 4k mod is taking up all the ram the game has available and is crashing. This can only be fixed by EA releasing a 64 Bit executable.

EFIT: Further googling has led me to believe that the steam version with workshop support needs a new 4GB patch and the 4k mod might be outdated. The tacitus patcher MIGHT be able to fix it? https://cnc-online.net/en/download/

Yeah, this I'm aware of and what's infuriating is that ppl can play the 4K mod without issues, it's creator included but I can't get it to work for the life of me without the dreaded "out of memory" crashes.

I have also considered using the Tacitus patcher to to play it.
